Act Like You’re Asleep #1

Art direction and set design for the award-winning Greek television series Act Like You’re Asleep.

The project combines constructed sets and real locations to create a cohesive and narrative-driven visual world.

Three primary spaces—the school, the police station, and the protagonist’s house—form the core spatial framework of the series, each carrying a distinct narrative and psychological identity.

The school operates as the central environment, anchoring the story within a familiar yet emotionally charged setting, while the police station and the house function as controlled interiors that reflect authority, investigation, and personal tension.

A consistent visual language was developed across all environments through careful control of materials, color palette, and lighting, ensuring continuity between built and natural spaces.

The overall approach emphasizes psychological atmosphere, spatial clarity, and subtle tension, allowing the environments to support the narrative without overwhelming performance.
