Serres is a deeply human series balancing humor, intimacy and emotional vulnerability through a world that feels warm, familiar and emotionally true. Set within the everyday atmosphere of a Northern Greek city, the series unfolds through spaces that carry memory, tension and tenderness with equal weight.

The art direction and scenography focused on creating lived-in environments that supported both the emotional realism and the subtle theatricality of the narrative. Domestic interiors, neighborhood locations and shared family spaces were approached as active elements of the storytelling — shaping rhythm, relationships and emotional tone throughout the series.

Originally released as an ANT1+ Original and later distributed on Netflix in Greece and Cyprus, Serres became one of the most acclaimed contemporary Greek series for its sensitivity, emotional depth and celebration of acceptance and human connection.
