TAMAM
Art Direction & Scenographic Development
ANT1
ANTS Production Hub
Art direction and scenographic development for the television dramedy series Tamam, broadcast on ANT1.The series is the Greek adaptation of the successful German format Türkisch für Anfänger (Turkish for Beginners), centered around multicultural coexistence, identity and contemporary family dynamics.
The scenographic approach was developed around the concept of mixed culture and the visual coexistence of two strong Mediterranean identities within the same domestic environment. The design language combined Greek and Turkish cultural references through a layered boho–eclectic aesthetic, creating a warm, expressive and emotionally rich visual world that reflected both the contrast and harmony between the families and their traditions.
Natural materials, handcrafted textures, patterned fabrics, vintage objects, warm color palettes and eclectic decorative compositions were carefully combined to create interiors filled with personality, familiarity and cultural depth. The spaces were intentionally designed to feel authentic, vibrant and lived-in, allowing the scenography itself to become part of the storytelling and character identity.
Special emphasis was given to:
multicultural domestic atmosphere
boho & eclectic Mediterranean styling
layered textures and handcrafted details
warm cinematic lighting
expressive family-oriented interiors
contemporary urban Athens identity
The project balanced realism with stylized television aesthetics, creating a visual environment that celebrated diversity, coexistence and the emotional energy of multicultural family life through architecture, decoration and atmosphere.
