Sleep Project Athens Edition
As part of a global initiative by IKEA initiative on the importance of better sleep, a series of immersive installations explored the conditions that shape our nightly experience.
Sleep was translated into a spatial journey, where each environment embodied a distinct sensory state. Light, sound, air quality, temperature, and order were rendered as tangible atmospheres experienced rather than explained.
Each room formed its own narrative.Warm, low lighting invited calm; controlled soundscapes created stillness and isolation; air focused spaces suggested clarity and renewal; composed interiors revealed the quiet impact of order. Subtle shifts in color, texture, and material guided perception across states of rest.
The Athens edition reinterpreted the global concept through a localized scenography, balancing a strong visual identity with spatial storytelling. Rather than presenting products, the installation invited visitors to inhabit the conditions of better sleep.
An environment not only seen, but felt.
